Hunter Lines
Intermediate Teacher
Hunter Lines is originally from Lancaster, California. He moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2013 and began pursuing an education degree at Grand Canyon University. He graduated from Grand Canyon University in December, 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. He tutored high school students in reading, writing and language arts while simultaneously completing his student teaching in a 2nd grade classroom at a public elementary school in Phoenix. Hunter joined the Lexis team in May 2017, and quickly connected with students by leading a class during Lexis’s 2017 STEM summer camp. Hunter also tutors Lexis students, helping them progress in areas across different academic subjects. Hunter believes his first year teaching at Lexis will be met with many successes as a result of setting high goals and working hard to achieve them. He strives to meet his students with the same effort, dedication and enthusiasm that he expects from them. Hunter’s interests include: traveling and learning about different cultures, nature/wildlife documentaries, and new technology. When not working, you will find Hunter trying new foods and learning to cook, playing the piano and hiking, or finding new shows on netflix.
