Doug Groff
High School Teacher

Mr. Doug Groff is teaching math and science in our High School. Teaching is a second career for Mr. Groff who retired from the food industry as a District Manager. Mr. Groff’s background in teaching included a math/science position in a Paradise Valley High School in addition to several years of substitute teaching in both regular and special education classrooms. He has held several long term substitute positions and most recently a full term position at Hidden Hills Elementary in the Cabs program and at Roadrunner in the upper elementary school. Mr. Groff believes that students can achieve at high levels if they first understand themselves and are open to accepting constructive feedback in both academic and behavioral areas.

When not teaching, Mr. Groff has a passion for ceramics and takes classes at the Maricopa Community Colleges. He is married and has four grown children and ten grandchildren that that keep him busy and active.
